Balms from the Psalms

Growth Groups at Trinity
Growth Groups are getting ready to start back up this fall! While Sunday mornings are an awesome time to worship with the whole family of God, receive God’s word and engage in corporate vision, a Growth Group provides a place to build deeper friendships and grow in a close-knit community. If you are not already in a Growth Group and you would like to sign up, please check the appropriate box on the back of your blue connection card on Sunday morning.

MOPS at Trinity
Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) is a program designed to nurture mothers with children from infancy through kindergarten. MOPS meets the second Tuesday of every month at Trinity from 9:00-11:00 a.m. The first MOPS meeting of the school year will be Tuesday, September 14. This is a great opportunity to invite any moms in your acquaintance who are in need of making connections. For more information or to join MOPS, contact Jennifer Davis at 527-0527.

Praying for Our Professional Educators
Next Sunday, September 12, we’d like to acknowledge the important role our school teachers and administrators play in this valley. We’ll be recognizing them for their contribution and praying for their impact this year.

Church-wide Prayer Night
Join us for a time of corporate prayer on Sunday, September 19, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. We will gather at Trinity to seek God and His blessing on our church. We hope to see you there!

Boomers’ Potluck
Boomers ABF is having a potluck on Sunday, September 12, at 1:00 p.m. It will take place at the home of Bill and Marcia Dean on 3294 Peppers Bridge Road in Walla Walla. Please bring a main dish and either a salad or dessert. Drinks, tableware and plates will be provided. Bring your swimming suit if you would like to swim. Questions? Contact Marcia Dean at 525-0541.

Volunteers Needed
MOPS is in need of volunteers on the second Tuesday of every month. We are looking for childcare during our meetings, assistance in the kitchen, and contributions of breakfast food. Please call Jennifer Davis at 527-0527 for more details.

RealLife Presents iMarriage
RealLife presents iMarriage by Andy Stanley, September 19 through November 7. Join us Sundays at 10:30 a.m. for this exciting series! iMarriage is a fun, contemporary and relevant series that will challenge and strengthen your marriage and other relationships in Biblical and practical ways. If you are a young couple or family, or somewhere in between, this is a great opportunity to check out the RealLife Adult Bible Fellowship! Enjoy applicable teaching, fellowship, refreshments and community. Still not sure? Try it out at a special kick-off meeting during second service on Sunday, September 19!

Moms in Touch
Ladies— do you worry about your children/grandchildren? Moms In Touch International gathers women together to pray specifically and scripturally for children and schools. Please join with us in prayer each Thursday morning from 8:45 to 9:45 a.m. beginning September 9. This church-based group is open to those praying for children of any age.
